Who We Are

OATUG is a global community of people powering progress. Members represent a wide range of industries in the private sector, public sector, universities, non-profits and beyond. Ours is a truly global community, with members in more than 30 countries. While we started as an organization for Oracle EBS users, today we also serve Oracle customers using EPM (Hyperion), Oracle Database, and the wide range of Oracle Cloud Applications and technology solutions. The work of OATUG is made possible through the efforts of a large group of dedicated volunteers and our team of professional staff.

Originally established as the Oracle Applications Users Group (OAUG), our organization first gathered in 1990 in Anaheim, CA. The vision and direction set at that first meeting continue to guide us today. From the beginning, OATUG has been dedicated to providing valuable information and feedback to Oracle, as well as delivering up-to-date resources and timely education for our members. The group was born from one customer¡¯s challenge with a business process using an Oracle Application¡ªan experience that sparked the creation of a community where fellow customers could share insights with each other and with Oracle. That was the beginning of the OATUG.
